Community Law Centres (CLCs) in GHANA initiative seeks to provide an independent legal advice and representation service to disenfranchised, deprived and socio-economically disadvantaged in society.
To facilitate this overarching strategic objective, Community Law Centres will engage lawyers and specialists in all areas of law to assist marginalised individuals and communities to have equal access to justice.
Community Law Centres (CLCs) focus on providing legal services to people who are excluded in society and experiencing discrimination and disadvantaged.
CLCs purpose is to discover the underlying causes of legal problems and take a holistic approach to solving the same for both the client and the community.
CLCs shall engage lawyers (barristers and solicitors) many of whom are specialists in their chosen area of law including equality and discrimination law.
