Community Law Centre Ghana

Untill Justice rolls down...

“No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.”  Martin Luther King, Jr.

Justice for All in Ghana

About Us

Community Law Centres  in GHANA is an innovative initiative inspired by a hankering to manifest the central concept of JUSTICE FOR ALL.

The creation of a critical mass network of community legal service centres to deliver quality professional legal services to those who have no or limited access to traditional mainstream means of pursuit of justice, the minimisation and ultimate elimination of obstacles that prevent equal access to justice experienced by the disadvantaged in society.

CLC have existed since October 2010.

CLC should be available to everyone, especially those living in less affluent areas with poor public services.

CLC will assist vulnerable Ghanaians when they suffer injustice, educate people about their rights and tackle local problems. In doing so, they transform people’s lives, helping them to stay in their homes, keep their families together and get into employment or education.

CLC are embedded in their communities and answer to committees of local people through trusteeship and governance.

Because of limited resources CLC target their services at those groups of Ghanaians within their local community who are most disadvantaged and oppressed. These may include women, the unemployed, aged and disabled people, the low paid, etc.

“Access to Justice for All” is a campaign to ensure that all can access justice, no matter the circumstances they find themselves in.
